Volunteers are the heart and soul of The Literacy Council of St. Petersburg. We could not educate our students without the critical support of our dedicated volunteer tutors. All tutors are given comprehensive training before being assigned to a learning center.
The Literacy Council of St. Petersburg (LCSP), is made up completely of volunteers. There are no paid employees, clerks, administrators, managers, executives, etc.

Ways to make a difference

1.) Become a Volunteer Tutor

For a 3 hour per week commitment, you can make a difference! Free training to become a volunteer tutor is offered year round. For more information click here.

You can make an immediate impact on an adult’s education by donating now. Any gift big or small ensures that we can continue to provide life changing literacy services.
